A network engineer based in Abuja has accused Aero Contractors of neglecting his refund request for over a year.

The engineer, who asked not to be named, told FIJ that his ordeal with the airline began in July last year, when the company ceased its operations.

He said he booked a flight from Yola to Abuja last June at a cost of N47,727, intending to travel in July, but due to the company’s sudden flight termination, he could not embark on his journey.

“After the company halted operations, I began my quest for a refund in September. But I have been continuously ignored by the company,” the engineer said.

According to his account, he made numerous attempts to contact Aero Contractors for a refund, sending over 20 emails to their customer service department.

Unfortunately, his efforts proved futile as he received no response or progress regarding his rebate.

“I have visited their office in Maitama several times, but they have persistently informed me to return after two weeks. Additionally, I’ve been repeatedly asked to complete various forms,” he further explained.

FIJ contacted Aero Contractors, but the airline company had not responded at press time.
